Security Teams Need More Than Assessments: They Need Action

2024 was a year of incredible momentum for Reach Security. As we enter 2025, one thing is clearer than ever: security teams don’t need more dashboards telling them what’s wrong, they need a way to fix the exposure.

That’s why Reach is redefining security posture assessment and remediation. We’re closing the gap between security investment and outcomes, ensuring teams get the most from the tools they already own. But this is just the beginning, security exposure management is evolving, and Reach is shaping what comes next.

What’s New?

Last year, we worked closely with customers to tackle some of the most frustrating challenges in security operations. Our latest platform enhancements help teams in many ways including:

  • A curated Capability Inventory that saves months of time for organizations by automating the process of inventorying tool capabilities. We’re seeing our customers shift away from tracking feature releases and monitoring configurations, offloading that work to the Reach platform.
  • Risk-based decisions come easy with Reach’s analytics to back every control decision with Threat Evidence Integration. Bridge the gap between security controls and real-world threats to prioritize what actually matters.
  • Getting s&*t done safely and with your peers on board with User Impact Metrics. Balance security with usability, so teams can accelerate adoption without frustrating employees.

The Impact on Security Teams

We hear it from our customers and partners every day: closing the gap between security tools and real-world risk is transformational. Instead of just telling you, we’ll let them share their experiences:

Leadership Growth Fuels Innovation

As we scale, we’ve brought on top-tier talent to accelerate Reach’s impact:

  • Jared Phipps, Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) – Formerly CRO at Dazz, where he drove hyper growth, and previously SVP of Americas at SentinelOne, where he scaled revenue from $10M to over $700M. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Jared brings a deep commitment to operational excellence and innovation.
  • CP Morey, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) – Brings two decades of cybersecurity leadership, including roles at Splunk and Phantom, where he helped define and grow the security automation market.
  • Matt Maisel, Head of Research – Leads Reach’s security research initiatives, bringing expertise from Obsidian Security, Cylance, and Booz Allen.

Beyond these key hires, Reach has expanded across engineering, customer success, and product development, going from 8 to 40 US-based employees, reinforcing our commitment to delivering innovation and driving measurable impact.

Looking Ahead

The way security teams manage exposure is evolving, and Reach is at the forefront of this shift. Organizations need more than assessments, they need help driving action, and that’s exactly what we’re building.
